The topic of Femicide or gender-specific killings of women is a thematic focus of the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, Ms. Dubravka Šimonović. It is a special appreciation to be able to support her international stocktaking, which aims to prevent and combat Femicides, with regular information, data on German Femicides and concrete recommendations for action derived from it. May the contribution of the Femicide Observation Center Germany (20210430_FOCG_Germany – Report on Femicide) be an additional piece of the puzzle among the internationally compiled results presented in a report to the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
